About the Owner:
This proud disability-owned company is a one-woman show with Kelly Guist being the star. After losing two jobs because of her disability, she started Spangle Custom Apparel with the hope of earning enough money so that she could continue her extensive medical treatment and keep a roof over her head. Kelly comments on her feelings towards starting the business, “I had no idea that I would fall so head over heels in love with it.” Her ultimate goal is to be able to use this business to help others who, like her, have been shut out of the workforce especially in these trying times.
Her difficulties made Kelly passionate about giving back to the community through supporting charities. Her brand is on an ELITE mission, which means to celebrate and promote equality, love, inclusion, tolerance, and empowerment. All products are ethically made and sourced because they believe that “treating yourself should never come at the expense of your conscience.”
