DAYTON, Texas – February 25, 2021 – “Agape: Love Carried My Cross Passion in Action Crushing Curses, Healing Hearts, Saving Souls” is a powerful memoir of author Nanette Crapo.
This book is the epitome of a life overcoming struggles and enduring hardships until a breakthrough is experienced. It is a life centered on God’s word that as humans we are bound to be crushed, cursed and manipulated. However, it gives readers hope that with a life protected by the Heavenly Father, we transform into a loving, forgiving and giving person.
The book accounts for the life of the author; she writes about her experiences in vivid images and how she embraced the Heavenly Father’s protection in such a timid and naive personality. A realization that took 40 years of brokenness—emotionally, psychologically and financially.
Crapo writes, “The devil manipulated GOD’s Word, specifically the curses of Eve, and exploited the fruit of the Spirit of love that is within me. He imprisoned me to the men in my life through idolatry, addicted me to the institution of marriage through desperation, and invited me to the pity party of loneliness through depression. In complete brokenness, I called upon Jesus to help me”.
Her book is an eye-opener that would shape the reader’s personal views in a significant way. It is a heart–warming anthology that will rekindle and strengthen your faith.
Crapo did a great job telling her story in a way that provokes emotions and temporarily taking the reader into her pains. She perfectly paints the reality of life; it isn’t always rainbows and butterflies. However, she had also led people into the knowledge of redemption through faith in Jesus Christ.
The book uplifts your mind, soul and spirit through eloquence and affirmations.
