“There are companies out there that could be doing even better,” noted Aunapu. “I have worked with organizations that are still using ‘old-fashioned methods,’ like Excel-generated reports looking at the last three months of average inventory projected toward the future three months. It really doesn’t work well when they’re trying to look at pattern recognition. When they come to us, they want to be more nimble. They want to respond to the ever-changing inventory needs and they want to be able to adjust their inventory demands accordingly.”
