Tango Partner has launched a brand-new app to connect Tango friends and teachers, allowing Tango lovers to be part of the local Tango scene wherever they go.
Helping Tango friends to make connections anywhere in the world, Tango Partner is a new app that inspires meaningful Tango moments. Serving as a global meeting point for everyone who loves Tango, the App lets users tap into the local Tango scene everywhere they go.
Within only three months from inception, the new App has become the fastest-growing Tango community in the world. Over 100 of Tango’s biggest names have already signed up to the initiative, including Michael’ El Gato’ Nadtochi and Silvina Tse, Roberto Herrera, Leandro Palou and Maria Tsiatsiani, Paula Emerick & Juliano Andrade, Simone Facchini & Gioia Abballe.
The Tango scene has always been open, friendly, and welcoming, but this new digital community makes it easier than ever to connect, explore and experience Tango. The App was launched in Europe at the beginning of 2021 and already reached over 10,000 downloads. TangoPartner is expected to start in the USA, Canada and Argentina in April.
Tango Partner opens up the Tango scene in cities across the world. With recommendations from local dancers and details of milongas, practicas, and dance classes, it offers exceptional opportunities to connect with the local and global Tango scene. In essence, the App is set to replace an outdated listing of Milongas with real-time social recommendations.
“Especially after such a long time in social isolation, we want to help people connect again. Our mission is to inspire meaningful Tango Moments. We design the App around the user. Everything that a Tango lover would need at home or while travelling. We have teachers, Tango Dj’s, shoes & fashion shops, singers, orchestras, photographers, events organizers and more. All are there to offer our dream users everything they need. In my vision, people would need to take their Tango shoes and the App to experience the thrill of Tango everywhere they go,” explains Ofer Valencio Akerman, TangoPartner.com founder.
