“Merry will be my first opening and to be honest I am terrified. I plan to bring my culinary expertise to Antalya.” ANIL UZUN says. “We are planning to open the restaurant later this year, but the pandemic may postpone the big opening. Let’s see what happens.” he continues.
The restaurant will be called Merry. “It is named after my late dog,” says ANIL. The restaurant will serve Mediteranean dishes with vegetarian and vegan versions. The menu of Merry will be based on the recipes developed by ANIL UZUN himself.
“I will only use local produce and the best ingredients from Antalya. For those who are not familiar, Antalya is located in one of the most fertile regions in Turkey. The menu will serve fresh vegetables right from the local producer. It will be a sustainable restaurant. And the bar will offer a collection of wines from all over Turkey. We are planning to get consultancy from a famous wine gourmet whose name I will release later,” ANIL UZUN says.
Merry will be the first restaurant that is run by ANIL UZUN himself. The restaurant will have a capacity to serve 30 people in a main dining area and 10 people in the garden.
The very first restaurant by ANIL UZUN, Merry is expected to open its doors in the last quarter of 2021.
