April 6, 2021 – Since the pandemic began in March of 2020, the CDC has continually affirmed that frequent testing is one of the best ways to mitigate the spread of COVID-19. With this in mind, Xpress Urgent Care has partnered with over 60 Los Angeles and Orange County businesses, and more than 10 local schools to provide onsite COVID-19 testing for employees and students alike. As of today, onsite services provided by Xpress Urgent Care have tested 40,000 employees, providing tests to over 2,000 employees in a single day.
Providing this type of onsite, comprehensive COVID-19 testing helps to ensure California can continue in the path towards reopening. When Orange County moved to reinstitute in-person classes, Xpress Urgent Care was there to provide enhanced support and security. Working in tandem with school districts across the area, onsite testing provided by the urgent care team has allowed 13 school districts to reopen doors to students and keep them open.
Tim McLellan, Ed.D, superintendent of Cypress School District shared, “Xpress Urgent Care is amazing and performs incredible work! We’re consistently impressed with their expertise and professionalism during this challenging pandemic time. With stellar communication and care, they go above and beyond, always proving their clients’ health and success is their number one goal.”
As the pandemic progresses, Xpress Urgent Care continues to expand its reach, striving to provide convenient, quick access to rapid COVID-19 testing anywhere a need is presented. Be it large employers eager to provide a safe environment for their staff, or schools that are meeting the guidelines for keeping schools open, onsite group testing provides expanded access that makes these processes easier for all involved.
