Dubai will have the world’s tallest letter A as of this year It is the top a skyscraper in the capital of the United Arab Emirates 338 meters high, of which 100 are the letter A on he home of the building. It is a work of the architect Issam Ezzeddine, and with the name of A Tower, is a part of the skyline of the city. The architect says: “I have designed many towers in Dubai and most of them are iconics. The A tower is different and spiritually I’m so connected with this architectural piece from the time I started the design till the completion at site. It has a unique architectural merit.”
Today it is the seventh tallest tower in the country and is owned by AMA Holding. The building has 58.300 square meters of the residential space including retail and entertainment areas. The architectural feat has been accredited in the Official World Record register. Ezzeddine had this record in his mine: “Furthermore, the intention from day one was to get a world record as largest and highest A in the world. The client and myself were both determined from day one to sail in the challenge boat to get this architecture piece accomplished.”
