Bellybambino’s animal-themed baskets started as a passion project by Helen Chapman, a British mom who accidentally envisioned an adorable animal’s face in one of the storage baskets in her home.
After developing her brilliant basket idea, Chapman first decorated her kids’ rooms with her creations. Then, after friends and family expressed how much they loved her designs, she made cute baby baskets for them as well. Soon after, she set up an Etsy shop and then a dedicated website. Chapman currently has a team who makes the belly baskets by hand in the UK, and they ship them off to their new homes all over the world.
As celebrities and high-profile figures purchase Bellybambino baskets for their kids’ rooms, the company has recently been invited to attend an exclusive celebrity gifting suite in Beverly Hills in honor of the Golden Globes in 2022.
“It has been an exciting two years. We’ve recently won an award for Best Nursery Accessory at the British Made for Mums Awards, which we are extremely proud of. Our baskets have been seen in British Vogue, Tatler and House Beautiful Magazine, and we have had great success on Instagram and Pinterest,” stated Helen Chapman, founder of Bellybambino. “Our trip to LA in January 2022 is so exciting for us. We’re hoping to increase our sales in America, so this is perfect timing.”
