Portland, Oregon – Each year, Wag to my Heart Portrait Studio launches a fundraising project that benefits a non-profit organization in the local Portland community. This time, “Puggin’ Portland,” raises funds benefitting the Pacific Pug Rescue.
“Participants receive a custom portrait session and the non-profit gets the much-needed funds they require to do the good work they do on a daily basis,” says Danyel Rogers, owner of Wag to My Heart.
“It’s for a great cause and Pacific Pug Rescue saves Pugs and other dogs all over the Pacific Northwest every day. Their work deserves our support and our thanks.”
Puggin Portland raised $2250 for the Pacific Pug Rescue. Presale for the Puggin Portland book runs through April 29th and the launch party and book release date are also April 29th.
“And for those who missed getting their Pugs in the book, we have a new project starting April 12th called, Tails Portland. It is a hardcover coffee table book celebrating the stories of pets from all around the Portland Metro area. Animals of any size and shape can participate as long as they can be photographed outside. We’re talking dogs, cats, horses, birds, rabbits, even llamas.”
The Tails of Portland book will benefit the Oregon Humane Society, who will receive 50% of the participation fee and raise awareness for animals in need during these hard times. Get your rabbits, birds, cats, dogs, and llamas bathed and brushed because Tails of Portland will be taking reservations through Spring and Summer of 2021.
Tails of Portland will be published before Christmas Day of 2021.
Wag to my Heart [link: https://wagtomyheart.com/puggin-portland/] bridges the gap between pet photographers and family portrait photographers. Danyel Rogers believes that your animals are just as much a part of your family as your children are. They should be in family portraits and not just cell phone pictures.
