Aventura, Fla. – April 26, 2021 – AquaVault, producer of portable travel safes and other personal security products, has been conducting a successful equity crowdfunding campaign on the StartEngine platform, raising more than $674,000 so far from more than 800 investors. The campaign ends soon.
AquaVault began when the founders, on a beach vacation, had their belongings stolen from their lounge chairs while swimming. They immediately recognized the magnitude of the problem and devised a solution with their flagship product: the AquaVault Portable Beach Chair Safe, designed for travelers to lock up phones, cash, and other valuables while at the beach or pool.
They began selling their portable safe to oceanside hotels in Miami, and soon after, AquaVault earned an investment from Daymond John on Shark Tank. The young company quickly followed up their initial product with the FlexSafe Portable Travel Safe and the 100% Waterproof Floating Phone Case.
In 2020, while many travel-related businesses experienced slowdowns due to the global pandemic, AquaVault’s leadership team devoted their time to establishing additional retail partnerships and developing new products devoted to personal security and convenience.
“Although we expected COVID travel restrictions to potentially cause a decrease in our sales,” says CEO and co-founder Rob Peck, “we made the necessary changes to pivot and redirect our efforts in ways that allowed us to remain strong.”
AquaVault’s newest releases include the PhoneVault Personal Safe, a smaller version of the FlexSafe; the ChargeCard, a phone charger small enough to fit in a wallet; and the Biometric Fingerprint Lock with Interchangeable Cables, which can be used to secure bikes, skis, golf clubs, gym lockers, and more, with no need to keep track of keys or a combination.
AquaVault has secured eight patents to protect their line of products. The ingenuity of their products – and their must-have quality – has attracted significant attention from major media outlets, including Forbes, Entrepreneur, Good Morning America, The Today Show, CNBC, Fox News, the Los Angeles Times, Inc., GQ, and the Miami Herald.
More than 200 multinational resorts, casinos, cruise lines, and amusement parks carry AquaVault products, including major hotel chains like Hyatt, Hilton, and Marriott, as well as Walt Disney resorts, Disney Cruise, and Norwegian Cruise Line. AquaVault has also landed major retail accounts including Bed Bath and Beyond, Ace Hardware, CVS, and Bass Pro Shop.
“With strong, multiple revenue streams, and a rapidly growing list of partnerships,” says Peck, “AquaVault is poised for exponential growth, and our StartEngine campaign means that anyone can invest and be part of our future.”
AquaVault’s Start Engine campaign will end soon. For more information on AquaVault, visit their StartEngine page.
