Experiential Discovery platform Proxgy has launched a patented smart helmet that lets users on the other end of the helmet get immersed in the helmet’s environment in a three-dimensional and responsive manner.
Proxgy is an assisted live discovery platform that lets users access any physical place around them or halfway around the world. The place could be a generic travel destination, store, showroom, real estate property, or any specific location as per users’ needs.
The users can access the physical locations on-demand and real-time while staying at home using a live, immersive, 6-axis stabilized streaming technology which gives users the option to switch between 360 degree and 3D modes. Domain experts assist the users at the particular place, property, store, or showroom of their choosing.
This makes users more productive and enables them to have a wider footprint, eliminating the need for travel for inquiry, viewings, errands, etc., while giving them access to all physical destinations in a live and assisted manner using Proprietary and Patent Pending Proxgy Technology.
To make the virtual teleportation a reality, the Proxgy ecosystem uses three elements – hardware, software, and services.
The hardware element comprises a gyro and joystick-controlled smart helmet with a unique combination of 360-degree cameras, which transform to serve stereoscopic live videos to the end-user. The entire system is triple image-stabilized to ensure zero point of view fatigue to the end-user, which might occur due to the movement of the helmet wearer.
The helmet is worn by a human Prox(g)y, which forms the service part of the Proxgy ecosystem. With the human Proxgy serving as a Real World Avatar for the end-user, the user can guide his/her Proxgy via a two-way audio communication directly through the smart helmet. This enables the end-user to experience Proxgy’s surroundings from an eye-level height in a real-time, immersive, and three-dimensional manner. At the same time, the Proxgy navigates the Physical space based on the user’s audio input.
The hardware and service elements are stitched together by the software element with proprietary code to ensure stream fluidity and zero lag. Proxgy has developed unique services including UVCI™ (Universal Video Conferencing Identifier), StreamScroll™, and ScrollView to ensure that the ecosystem provides users with an experience that nears their physical presence, in effect enabling Virtual Teleportation.
Speaking on the development, Pulkit Ahuja, Founder and CEO of Proxgy, an Inventor and Author of Financial Bestseller “Googled by God,” said, “Proxgy started as a means to address the mobility needs arising from Covid Pandemic. Since then, we have made considerable progress inventing new technologies and processes leading to a much more refined ecosystem that has led to the creation of an entirely new domain of assisted experiential physical world discovery.”
