The “Amrit Mahotsav of Independence” is being organized by the Government of India to mark the completion of 75 years of independence. The Bureau of Public Relations and Communications, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Regional Public Relations Bureau, Siliguri, jointly organized the event in the premises of BSF Senior Secondary School, Kadamtala Siliguri, with the active support of BSF Head Quarters, North Bengal.
This three-day event was held from 30 March to 1 April in which the visual exhibition and evening cultural program were very well organized and enthusiastically presented. In this program, participants from all the different states of the country introduced their zonal and regional folk art.
Honorable Mr. Murari Prasad Singh commandant (Training) Border Security Force, North Bengal Frontier, Siliguri, the Chief Guest of the event inaugurated the event and encouraged all the participants by being actively present in the program.
Shri Indrabhuwan Kumar Singh (CEO) Maisa Tanzania was the Chief Guest, celebrating with joy and gaiety on the last day of the festival. He expressed his heartfelt gratitude for his hospitality. Feeling proud on the land of our country, congratulated all the attendees for the festival.Encouraged and honoured the award winners of the quiz and performing arts, encouraging the participants. Shri Murari Prasad Singh ji appreciated all those present, encouraged his enthusiasm, and also inspired to maintain unity in diversity of India.
