Lifestyle apparel company, The True North Way launches its flagship line of hats and headwear. Their snapback trucker hats are built with their innovative true North platform. This platform is compatible with their interchangeable wooden ‘planks’ that can be swapped out, on the fly, depending on the mission, hobby or passion the user chooses to support. This completely new approach of self-expression provides the freedom that the modern consumer desires.
“The True North Way is headwear re-imagined. Designed and engineered in the USA, the true North hat is built with our innovative platform which is an entirely new way of expressing yourself. Now, with our proprietary system and precision-machined planks, you can create your unique and one-of-a-kind look”-Tom Staber, Founder and President of The True North Way.
The true North system allows one hat to have virtually unlimited options. By being able to quickly change out the design (the Plank) that is being displayed, users can customize their look at a moment’s notice. Customers first select the hat color of their choice, then the type of wood, followed by the design on the plank, and finally the position of the plank on the hat; center, left or right. People may choose a hat/ plank combo from an online library of designs, build a hat with multiple planks with the Product Builder feature or upload logos, designs, or artwork for a completely personalized plank.
About The True North Way
The True North Way was born from the idea of being able to make a statement. The idea emerged after the company’s founder, Tom, gifted a custom hat with some wooden pieces to his good friend, Ryan for his 40th birthday. Soon after, they launched The True North Way to bring this fun and exciting idea to others. This one seemingly ‘simple’ idea has led to years of research, testing, and development. Through collaboration and innovation, the founders utilized technology across multiple industries to create the true North hat. After much trial and error, they built a hat that not only looks great but is also engineered to stand the test of time.
