Felt Right Partners with Color Mentor Lori Weitzner to Curate its Palette of Colors

SALT LAKE CITY – Felt Right, the leading maker of quality sound-dampening wall tiles, teams up with Lori Weitzner, Color Mentor and Founder of Lori Weitzner Design to curate and refine the depth of color offered to Felt Right customers. Together, they’ve expanded to 29 mix and match color options, most recently adding Slate Blue, Jasper and Ash.

“We love working with Lori Weitzner and are in awe of her deep connection to color,” says Talley Goodson, CEO and Founder of Felt Right. “Her approach to color comes from connecting the shades around us to all of our senses, and even our memories, making the patterns and designs our customers create that much more impactful and meaningful.”

Weitzner believes in the power of color and how it can transform homes, mood, and one’s outlook on the world. From an early study of painting, she was also exposed to the world of textiles and connected deeply with the complexity of the materials that decorate everyday lives. Her book “Ode to Color” explores ten “color worlds” and beautifully illustrates how people can enhance their lives by harnessing the capacity of color to influence their tastes, decisions, and frame of mind.

“Color communicates on an emotional level, influencing how we feel and evoking the memories and sensations we might associate with a beloved book, a meaningful song, a meal on a long-ago vacation, or even a favorite scent, says Weitzner. “Felt Right sees color as a basic form of self expression and I’m ecstatic to work with them on a refined palette that opens a world of possibilities to their community of creative customers.”

Weitzner applies an emotionally grounded approach with a global perspective, celebrating the complexity of color to create sophisticated palettes that resonate deeply and personally. From time to time she will provide inspiration to Felt Right customers in the form of special color combinations, such as her two spring 2021 palettes: Early Spring Pastels + Full Bloom Spring.

Felt Right tiles make it easy to intuitively incorporate Weitzner’s color theory into a space. Customers use the My Studio design tool to either personalize pre-set templates or design freestyle, original creations while exploring different combinations of shades, shapes, and scale. The sound absorbing felt wall tiles have applications in both homes and offices. They’re pinnable, durable, easy to clean and install and made of at least 50% recycled materials. Potential applications include wall art, unique headboards, pinboards, calendars, office decor, recording studio backgrounds and more.
