Free Mace, the Florida-based band, is all set to take fans by surprise with its new song ‘War Machine’. Running on the chords of a relaxed vibe, the musicality is a mix of reggae and rock. The song finds its place in the band’s new album ‘World on Fire’, featuring three equally lively tunes.
Finding that one genre that uplifts their reggae music was tough but worth it. The band chose rock as the combination genre for their new album, all thanks to their love for Dance Gavin Dance, the renowned American rock band.
“We wanted to bring together genres and yet keep our love for reggae intact. We have created a whole new vibe with these genres, added lyrics with more depth, and mastered it with great instrumentations. All in all, the band has found the right chords that are hard to replicate”, says Mason Staub, member of the band.
Recently, Free Mace tried their hands on something unusual with their album ‘Hawaii Drive’. The album is a collection of 7 soulful acoustic songs, each unique in its way. The album was well-received by fans, bringing the reggae band to an all-time high.
Free Mace is an emerging Florida-based band with the enigma to change the music scene. The idea that goes behind their music is simple: to try genres that are a part of the music of Florida and yet make it unique. The band consists of guitarist/vocalist/producer Mason Staub, the backbone of Free Mace, and an alternating drummer and bass player. Their versatile musicality and inspirations from life experiences bridge a connection with the audience, somewhat magically. Within no time, the band is set to take over hearts worldwide with their music, better watch out…
