The design center for future factories was inaugurated in Xihu district, Hangzhou, East China’s Zhejiang province, on June 29, local media reported.
The new facility represents an important move by the district to construct a scenario display area and a standard setting area of future factories.
Dedicated to providing technological service to the intellectualized reform of the manufacturing industry, the design center includes an overall solution center, an exhibition center and an operation and reception center.
Alliances related to the industry, service, technology and capital were established during the inauguration ceremony to offer local manufacturing companies systematic industrial innovation solutions, platform services, and capital resources.
Since Zhejiang rolled out its digitalization reform measures earlier this year, Xihu district has expanded efforts to construct future factories by popularizing digitalized manufacturing and improving supporting systems for intelligent manufacturing.
