Hamptons Learning Cottage is a new community-based learning center that offers music-making, music literacy, drumming and dancing, science and art projects, book clubs and more. They believe that all children are musical and use only the highest-quality educational resources to introduce music early to children.
“Hamptons Learning Cottage offers a complete path to music literacy for children and adults, that is both fun and affordable. We offer curated programs tailored to each individual,” shared Luanne Lewis Asta, Owner & Director of the Hamptons Learning Cottage.
They host summer camps that combine fun and learning. Their music and S.T.E.A.M. camp is a week of learning how to sing, dance, use rhythm, and play instruments. The children will also experience science experiments, local author book readings, and many other surprise activities.
The camp coordinators invite artistic kids to join Dr. Matthieu Cognet and Kurt Alakulppi of The Juilliard School for their upcoming six-day music-intensive camps on August 2–7 or August 9–14. The kids will learn about voice and piano — including the proper techniques of performance — and receive personal guidance from masters in their respective art forms.
The learning center also teaches private music lessons for piano, voice, guitar, violin, viola and trumpet from highly qualified professionals. These lessons are designed to instill confidence in performance and skill in technique.
Hamptons Learning Cottage celebrates each student’s unique personalities, talents, abilities and characteristics.
