Stockholm Based Rock Band, Self-Deception Announces Release of New Hit Single, ‘Stockholm Hearts’

‘Stockholm Hearts’ showcases the bands capability to push limits and withholding their own musical style and integrity, while manifesting a deep and personal songwriting.

Jul 12, 2021 – Stockholm based hard rock band, Self-Deception has recently announced of their new hit track titled ‘Stockholm Hearts’, today. The song which will be available on all digital platform will also feature a video that will be released on the 16th of July, 2021.

‘Stockholm Hearts’ is a song that showcases the bands capability to push limits and withholding their own musical style and integrity while manifesting deep and personal songwriting. The song also speaks about the troublesome relationship the band has with their hometown Stockholm, shadowed by both misery and euphoria. Recalling their own experiences growing up in the city.

Directed by Ted Lindén who previously has worked with Hank Von Hell, Jill Jonsson, Mustach, Peter Jöback and Steve – O (Jackass), the beautifully unique music video for ‘Stockholm Hearts’ stars actor and Royal dramatic theatre alumni Thorsten Flinck.

In a recent interview, the band said “To be granted the opportunity to work with such an iconic character as Thorsten Flinck was the finishing touch to the song. We truly believe his uniqueness represents this song, especially with his strong connection to the capital.”
