Olta Baraj’s name is spontaneously mentioned. But there is much more to Olta than overseeing a global fashion blogger; like being aThough it is demanding, Olta insisted on showing the whole world that a confident and a persistent woman can do it alone and easily. devoted wife and a sacrificed parent. Managing between private and professional life is not a piece of cake as some might think…
1) Would you please introduce yourself to our readers?
My name is Olta Baraj, and I am fashion, travel, lifestyle and beauty blogger hailing from Albania. I started as being an influencer eight years ago out of my interests and passions in photography, traveling and fashion.
2) How did you get into fashion blog?
I think I’ve always been into fashion. Fashion has been a major part of my personality. Besides, I have always imagined my life behind cameras and all of this because of my love to fashion and beauty.
3) Have you ever encountered any difficulties at your work ever since you became a mother?
Being a fashion blogger and a mother were my choice, I wasn’t obliged to choose any of them. Thus, I was fully sure that neither my blog nor my family would be affected by each other. And thanks God, I was blessed with my supportive husband who has always been by my side and encouraged me to continue my journey.
4) Isn’t it a bit difficult to manage between your demanding work and your family at the same time?
Indeed, motherhood isn’t easy at all, and things don’t happen magically. A working mom has to be fully committed to both work and family. It is a bit tough and exhausting, but you have to make it happen. But thankfully, I was able to succeed in being a mother and a fashion icon with the support of my lovely husband and my two angels.
5) We can see that your children are part of your content, is it their choice or yours?
Actually, I make sure I am not invading my kids’ privacy and give them the whole freedom to do choose whether they like their pictures to be posted on my platforms or not. So surely it was their choice not mine.
6) How do your children feel when you leave them for some time while you’re busy working out?
There are some sacrifices you make, and it may hurt your heart sometimes, but my kids tell me they’re proud of what I’ve accomplished, and that just means everything to me.
7) Are you satisfied with what you give for your kids?
Like so many mothers all over the world, I feel the constant struggle to be the best mother I can, whilst setting a good example to my children to work hard. My 2 kids are and will always be at the forefront of my brain, and when I am with them, they are my absolute priority.
