Many folks became pet parents during the pandemic. Plenty of people, especially those living alone, decided to bring home pups to keep them company. These pups would be celebrating their birthday this year. There’s no better way to celebrate a special pup’s birthday than with special birthday treats. However, not all sweet treats for humans can be eaten by pets. This is where pet treat provider The Lazy Dog Cookie Co. comes to the rescue. The company brings pet-friendly treats like their famous Original Pup-PIE®, Mutt Mallows®, Birthday Cake Bites, easy Bake-at-Home Birthday Cake Mix and even Make-at-Home Ice Cream, to the market to complete a pet owner’s dream celebration for their fur baby.
The Lazy Dog’s most popular birthday product is its Pup-Pie®. Pup-Pies® are naturally delicious, pie-shaped treats for dogs. The Pup-PIE® ingredients include finely ground oats, pureed pumpkin, and peanut butter. Each Pup-Pie® is hand-decorated with natural dairy-free icing and naturally colored sprinkles.
Complete the birthday spread with The Lazy Dog’s Birthday Cake Bites, Cake Mix and Ice Cream Mix! The company’s make-at-home ice cream mix is a yummy vanilla flavored blend complete with natural confetti sprinkles in the mix. Prepping is as easy as adding a half cup of water and freezing for eight hours. On the other hand, its soft-baked Birthday Cake Bites are flavored with toasted vanilla undertones and are made with all-natural ingredients, including rolled oats, honey and naturally colored sprinkles.
The Lazy Dog also has treats for other occasions, including Valentine’s Day, Spring, Summer, Halloween, and Christmas. Even without a special occasion, dogs deserve only the best. The Lazy Dog’s Treat them with LOVE!® cookies and Mutt Mallows® lines are the perfect everyday treat, with flavors like Ginger Glazed Pumpkin Carrot and Left-Over Turkey Sandwich that pups will love.

About The Lazy Dog
The Lazy Dog Cookie Co. was founded in 2001 by Amy Augustine and her three dogs. Amy combined her love for all animals and a simple recipe to create the delicious treats. She first gave the freshly baked peanut butter treats to her friends and coworkers. Their overwhelmingly positive response made her decide to join a local farmers market in York, Pennsylvania. In 2004, getting great feedback at a large pet product tradeshow in Chicago, she realized The Lazy Dog’s potential. Keith, Amy’s husband decided to join her in this venture and after a year, the couple moved into their first production facility in Ballston Spa, New York. Since then, they have continued to create wholesome and viciously delicious treats for dogs.
