Sep 14, 2021 – Salt Lake City, UT – Recently MIT45 Chief Marketing & Branding Officer, Dalton Locke, was interviewed on the highly acclaimed entrepreneurs podcast ‘Get After It’ with Aaron Griffin. This is Locke’s first interview on a podcast after the massive rise and success of MIT45 as a lifestyle brand. The podcast went deep on multiple topics along with the ‘behind the scenes’ that helped make the company – and Dalton – successful.
MIT45 has been known as a company with extraordinary growth over the past 2 years. Well known in multiple industries and recognized as the gold standard, they have quickly developed and expanded into multiple arenas (including the largest chains of convenience stores, smoke shops and much more). The podcast dives into topics such as how they have managed to develop leaders during the pandemic, how Locke stays passionate 10 years into the company, and why so many entrepreneurs and businesses don’t make it.
However, Mr. Locke didn’t start with a silver spoon in his mouth. Growing up in the 80s, he had a typical middle-class childhood in northern Utah. Born to parents who worked multiple jobs and did everything possible to keep a roof over the family, Dalton was in and out of trouble. After graduating high school, he dipped his toe in multiple businesses – from local promotions to online marketing and call centers (which are common in the Salt Lake City area) and eventually found his stride with MIT45 as the Chief Marketing Officer.
Essential to helping the company grow and achieve this level of success, Locke tells the world what takeaways other entrepreneurs can use to successfully develop a brand. In a difficult industry at a difficult time (through the pandemic), MIT45 has successfully developed a company culture of inclusiveness and balance, while growing 500% over the last 2 years.
Dalton Locke, CMO of MIT45, stated, “The success we’ve achieved with our brand has been exciting, from becoming recognized as the industry’s gold standard to all our competitors trying to copy our brand. While there are still daily challenges it is great to see the hard work pay off.”
