Takesha Marcella is a hard-working woman that has a TV Show at CAN TV called: “Are You Ready To Work” that airs on channel 36 each month. She had to complete a four-week class to learn how to structure the TV show, passed the course, and started preparing for the show & doing a lot of promotion so that the show could be a hit. When asked about the successful journey of her show, she revealed, “There were many skeptics; some predicted that I wouldn’t have my program for long. People even came out against my show, attempting to get it removed from CAN TV. But it didn’t stop me from promoting the show, and social media was a huge assistance to the show, which has been showing on CAN TV channel 36 for almost 11 years now.”
Drawing on the many hardships that hit her life, she remained positive and stood like a rock to achieve his goals. She is an under-privileged single Mother that has overcome tremendous personal tragedy with great bravery. She has lost two children, one violently and one due to health issues. She never loses faith in herself and continues to stay optimistic while being discriminated against both as a black person and a woman. The best advice she could give to everyone around her struggling to chase their goals she unfolded, “Work hard for your dreams to become a reality. Never give up. Believe in yourself. Love Yourself.”

She started as a temp worker; now, she is a full-time Pactiv Employee. Working with her is a win-win scenario as she is determined and a go-getter. Her full-time job not only helps pay bills, but it helps to keep her Tv Show going, “Are You Ready To Work,” airing each month at Can TV36 Chicago.
