Author Sandy Miller is glad to announce the soon to happen launch of her new book, “REBUILDING THE TEMPLE AT JERUSALEM: The Persian Empire’s Influence in the Rebuilding of Jerusalem.” This book is a delightful delve into ancient Israel and the Persian Empire’s involvement in the restoration of the country.
“Rebuilding The Temple At Jerusalem” takes the reader back into time one hundred years after Cyrus the Great commanded the Jews could return from exile in Babylon to Jerusalem to rebuild the temple. Later, various Persian kings that followed took charge of the rebuilding efforts by which the Jews became successful.
This book is a wake-up call to living in a world divided by politics and religion. These differences can be hard to set aside and simply engross everyone and shut minds to what society and humans could do together. Through ‘REBUILDING THE TEMPLE AT JERUSALEM,’ the reader gets a glimpse into the history and the things that united humans and what helps them survive to this day.
“I know you will enjoy this fascinating story of ancient Iranian kings who made a difference in the lives of displaced people from a ruined land. I believe you will enjoy it because I loved discovering these historical events, which occurred so long ago”, says the author, Sandy Miller.
Sandy Miller graduates from the University of Colorado and currently teaches the Bible as Cultural History at Florida Gulf Coast University in Naples, Florida. Besides this, she conducts Teacher Training Workshops to equip teachers with hands-on, artistic methods and techniques to make Bible study both exciting and relevant.
