On March 7th 2015, the first Comprehensive Pilot Area in China was established in Hangzhou after the approval of the State Council and was successively honored as “Top 1” many times over six years since its establishment. Cross-Border (Hangzhou) Experience centered on “six systems and two platforms” is also fully appreciated and recognized many times by State Council and was replicated and scaled up in other 104 national comprehensive pilot areas.
Zhejiang Pilot Free Trade Zone Hangzhou Area was officially established in September 2020, which marks that Hangzhou Cross-Border E-Commerce has entered into a new stage of digital empowerment free trade. One year after its establishment, 6 -foreign funded projects invested by companies of Global 500 was set up here, 9 enterprises were successfully listed and Global Central Warehouse model and Intellectual Property Integration Service and the like were selected as a new case in institutional innovation of China (Zhejiang) Pilot Free Trade Zone. 15 achievements including the model of “importation under bond plus retail processing” and enterprise innovation points are selected as the fourth patch “Top Ten” achievements of China (Zhejiang) Pilot Free Trade Zone, accounting for 37.5% of the province. Hangzhou Area gives full play as reform and opening-up experimental field and a number of pilots are unleashing their powerful strength in high-quality development.
With prominent advantage in Chinese supply chain, flourishing cross-border e-commerce and knowledge and experience in aspects including relevant policies, operation, technology and brand, key element in determining the efficiency, quality and status of industry development, in order to converge knowledge power in global cross-border e-commerce and assist in the industry development, China (Hangzhou) Cross-Border E-commerce Comprehensive Pilot Area, Xiaoshan District People’s Government, Xiaoshan Economic and Technological Development Zone and Ebrun jointly established “Global Cross-Border E-commerce Knowledge Service Center” and conducted operation in entity projects on the third floor of No.4 Building of Phase VI in Hangzhou Innovation Park, covering contents including analysis of global trend of cross-border e-commerce, innovation achievement in policy, double-circulation path and digital revolution, setting functional zones for exhibition and presentation, communication and training and policy connection, organizing regularly discussion in industrial cutting-edge knowledge and linking various kinds of industrial resources, thus enabling industrial knowledge and experience flowing freely and creating new industrial landmark of Hangzhou cross-border e-commerce innovation development.
Cross-border e-commerce is playing a crucial role in the digitalization of trade in a new format, connecting global demand-side and supply-side and helping form a new development pattern of domestic and international double-circulation.
