More than 30 photographers of the Qiantang Photographers Association in Hangzhou, East China’s Zhejiang province, recorded the first sunrise in Hangzhou in 2022 at Jianghai Wetland Park on Jan 1.
The photographers also took photos of birds in the park to showcase the healthy natural environment in Qiantang and the district’s contributions to the development of Hangzhou into a livable city.
Established on the largest tidal flat wetland in Hangzhou, Jianghai Wetland Park boasts the first ray of sunshine in Hangzhou and is the best place in Qiantang district to observe birds.
In recent years, as the natural environment in Qiantang continues to improve, more and more birds are inhabiting the district.
Statistics show that Qiantang is home to 147 species of bird, including 22 species under national protection. The little swan, black-faced spoonbill, reed parrotbill and other rare birds have been spotted in Jianghai Wetland Park.
Photographers are encouraged to send photos and videos showing birds in Qiantang to firstname.lastname@example.org until May this year.
