Marion County, WV – Jan 6th, 2022 – E-Therapy Café has officially announced this week that their boutique-style online counseling service will be featured on the “World’s Greatest” television series on January 8th 2022. After being featured originally on the December 25th airing of “World’s Greatest,” the overwhelming success of the episode has brought them back on the show for a second time for a New Year’s airing on Bloomberg TV at 3:30pm. They have received multiple awards and have also been featured in Bride’s magazine, Military.com, SpouseBuzz, Home Business, Story Exchange and more.
E-Therapy Café was founded by Dr. Jude Black, a military spouse who spent many years and deployments away from her husband. Deployments and relocations were a common occurrence in their life, having relocated more than 19 times all while raising three boys. After using a “dinosaur-like” video system and being able to connect with her husband from thousands of miles away, she realized the importance of tele-health and how it can benefit many people. Her official tele-journey of healing started in 2003 with one of the first online therapy platforms: Cope Today. Years later, and after a series of disappointments in the online therapy field with lackluster platforms, she knew it was time to do it the right way, herself. This was the beginning of her journey into reshaping the way online therapy is delivered, and E-Therapy Café was born.
During a recent interview, Dr. Jude Black was quoted as saying, “We are a terminally unique boutique company. There are BIG box companies that provide online counseling, but we are a curated team of licensed professionals who are all certified life coaches. We want that intimate experience. Other companies assign clients to counselors, we allow the relationship to be matched based on needs and preference. We are growing along with the needs of our clients and staff- that’s part of the allure of our structure. Clients wanted premarital options, so we have that. Client’s requested Wedding Coaching- we now have that. We listen and quickly adjust to the needs of a busy world.”
She went on to say, “No one helped me. I researched, YouTubed, learned coding, identified a platform, recruited professionals nationwide, leveraged connections to create ETC. I created a curated team that strengthens from the inside out. We build each other up and that allows us to help others build themselves. As a startup, many companies have investors; I didn’t. I bootstrapped everything and launched the company from the ICU after the death of my brother and father’s hospitalization. We have an amazing team that are focused on helping others achieve their full potential. We treat each client like family, and that is what separates us from the BIG commercialized companies.”
E-Therapy Café’s highly trained team is comprised of board certified licensed clinical counselors, master’s-level counselors, registered dietitian nutritionists, and professional certified life coaches who undergo extensive background checks and complete online training courses prior to becoming an E-Therapy Cafe counselor.
