Currently in its early access stage, Veep will be available via invite only for early access on January 24th, 2022. It will be available on both iOS initially, with Android currently in beta.
Veep is an augmented reality social network that allows people to meet and connect in the virtual world — otherwise known as the ‘metaverse.’ Veep uses cutting-edge software and seamless integration with virtual servers, allowing users to create a live virtual space with hundreds of connected users.
Live Spaces
Using live augmented reality, Veep allows users to create their own virtual space and decorate it to their liking. To customize a Space, users may choose from a variety of base environments, and then add 3d objects, photos, or even text. Users can also connect to other Spaces (rooms)to chat with friends or leave a message behind. Any objects added are instantly visible to everyone else in the room. Users who are connected to a virtual spaces are also able to partake in text or audio based chat rooms.
Profile
Veep has a one-of-a-kind profile customization tool. Users can set a color code for their profile,consisting of a primary and secondary color. On top of that, Veep has an innovative personality-emoji feature, where users will be allowed to choose emojis depending on their hobbies, interests, and temperament. These emojis can be tagged in users’ profiles, Veep spaces, and newsfeed posts.
Early Access
To gain early access to Veep on the 24th of January 2022, users will need an invite code. Veep will be distributing invite codes on their social media accounts and to the most active community members in discord.
Veep has crafted an ambitious roadmap detailing the project’s future plans of development and outreach programs. Veep’s core team is finishing up with the final touches of the Veep app development. An NFT marketplace and NFT integration is also being added as well, making Veep a web 3.0 application.
