From being featured on the cover of Parisian fashion magazine and Hong Kong Living Magazine – the most trusted city guide for Hong Kong expats and international residents covering family, healthy living, and dining, to appearing in the blog of Pole Press University and Pole Dance Community – an advisory and awarding body for the international pole dancing industry; Julianna Yau continues to earn the admiration of all who come across her art and are drawn by her zeal, passion, and dedication.
The Hong Kong-based aerial artist emerged as the first-place winner of the 2021 SPC Championship, came second in the 2021 PSO Artistic Contest, was third in the Pole Circus Competition 2021, and has been recognised by the Hong Kong Influencer Award in 2020, as well as The Loop 30 Under 30 in 2019. The phenomenal role model is also an environmental activist and has partnered with loads of eco-brands to raise environmental awareness through her creative dance videos.
Julianna Yau collaborated with upcycled artist to spread the joy of a green Christmas and was also an ambassador of Just Fly Pole Wear – a sustainable brand that uses minimal packaging and pledges to plant a tree for every order made for the Christmas Collection. The young entrepreneur seeks out the noblest causes to lend her talent to, promoting biodegradable eco-straws made of sugarcane, wheat, and even edible pasta to promoting eco-shoes made of all-natural materials, like tree fibre, beans, and algae.
