VIII Pressure Vessel Manual, CFI has developed a robust NQA-1 quality assurance program that’s committed to satisfying the requirements of ASME NQA-1, 2008 Edition, Part 1, as amended by ASME NQA-1-2009a, including applicable more stringent requirements of previous editions; 10CFR71 Subpart H, 10CFR50 Appendix B, and 10CFR Part 21.
Their NQA-1 program provides manufacturing and testing controls over Department of Energy and Nuclear Utility manufactured products, including but not limited to, radioactive waste containers, transport casks, nuclear shielding, critical lifting devices, filter vessels, and process piping as well as associated services involving product testing, repair by welding, and non-destructive testing.
It also has allowances for graded approach provisions to address customer-unique requirements by the establishment of project or customer-specific plans and/or procedures.
