Concert photographer Jay Austria continues to make a name in the industry by bringing his talent to the global scene, showcasing photographs that highlight the atmosphere and energy of live music.

To capture incredible concert photos during live music, Jay says it takes pure hard work and a bit of legwork.

“Capturing beautiful stories requires a proper skill set and the right credentials because you have to catch the feeling and atmosphere of a live show and be able to portray it accurately,” says Jay.

Jay will spice up several upcoming shows through his photography, including the Sonidos De Karmatica Resonancia 2022 tour set on March 11 at Tijuana, Plaza Monumental. He will also be in the zone for the CAIFANE5 on March 25, also at the Plaza Monumental.

However, besides being a sought-after photographer, Jay Austria is also making waves as a podcaster. Jay interviews rising artists and groups in the music industry and covers topics such as movies, reviews, and pop culture.

“Podcasting enables me to immerse myself into people’s lives in an intimate manner. People get to listen to me while they go about their business, and I get to talk with people in the industry – what motivates them to continue pushing forward, what their plans are in the future,” shared Jay.

As a podcast host, Jay says he wants his channel to serve as a guide and inspiration for many people and become a platform of entertainment to those looking for various content that widely covers the music scene and pop culture in general.

Jay Austria has worked with Los Caligaris, a renowned group that offers an innovative style of music. Known globally for its circus routines onstage during its concerts, the group merges genres, including rock and roll. The band was formed in August 1997 in the Residencial América neighborhood of the city of Córdoba. It’s hit songs include “Quereme Así,” “Razón,” and “Añejo W.”

Jay has also collaborated with Los Amigos Invisibles, a Venezuelan band that plays a blend of jazz, disco, and funk mixed with Latin rhythms. The band is famous for its highly rated songs “La Que Me Gusta,” “Viviré para Ti,” and “Mentiras,” among others. In addition, Jay has photographed and interviewed Genetalica, a Mexican rock band known for its approach of fusing various styles of music in a fun manner. Its hit songs include “Ya Nada Es Igual,” “Mi vida no vale nada,” and “No tengo amigos.”
