Aaron Regev is Interviewed on the Subject of Inspirational Leadership

“I had a family to support,” Aaron Regev shared in the interview when asked about this period of time. “I had to get my affairs in order quickly … and that led me to pursue a leadership role at the home warranty company I work with now.”
In an interview with Influencive, the Sales Manager of Service Plus shares some of his hard-earned wisdom on the subject of inspirational leadership.

Aaron Regev, Sales Manager of Service Plus, shared his thoughts on inspirational leadership in an interview with Influencive.

The interview begins with a quote from Forbes. This quote said the following: “Uninspiring leaders can do great damage in any organization. They destroy engagement and increase the turnover of their direct reports.”

Such a statement was backed by statistics that made it clear that even just improving to an average level of effectiveness can change the tides of one’s business growth significantly.

And so, Influencive decided that it was time to approach someone who would be able to answer their question on what it takes to be an inspirational leader and how one can build a team of free-thinkers that can boost the efficiency of their business growth.

This leader was Aaron Regev, who first shared that he had been on the journey to be a leader since the 1970s and that his path to leadership was not an easy one.

He explained that he began as your average salesperson — learning and working hard under a leader that showed him the ropes of the industry. However, the company that he had been growing under had gone bankrupt, forcing him to look elsewhere for employment.

He went on to explain that his leadership style could best be described as “tough but fair” and that he’s had many role models that have inspired him to become a better leader over the years.

On the subject of leadership and what he believed the definition of a great leader is, he had this to say: “A great leader must be able to inspire others to think for themselves … You need to be able to encourage confidence and independence in your people.”

He went on to share more advice thereafter, with the most resounding piece of wisdom being the following: “Get educated! Get yourself out there and work with actual people … that’s the only way to truly work on the skills required for the career path that you want to follow.”

Aaron Regev also easily admitted that he’s “… stumbled enough times throughout his career” and that, because of this fact, he now knows that “… it is better to take your wins a bit at a time rather than chase after the impossible and fall back at the starting line, again and again. Don’t be greedy. Instead, always be content.”
