USA – There seems to be a prevalence of people walking the streets of life today who are struggling with stress and anxiety, which is hardly surprising if you watch the news. Trevor, the founder, and owner of MyTee People felt the need to try and do something to help. At MyTee People, Trevor believes in the power of positive thinking and the power of belief. His designs are meant to inspire and empower people through having a positive mindset.
The idea is that the designs act as a positive affirmation or mantra that people can focus on when they are feeling anxious, and the best part is…it doesn’t have to be the person wearing them who is having those feelings! Anyone wearing these designs could be walking down the street, or working out at the gym and someone somewhere reads the T-shirt, and for one fleeting moment, they are not thinking about anything else. They might even continue thinking about what they have just read, as the words may have resonated with something that was on their mind.
Trevor’s purpose is to try and help improve the lives of those who are struggling with stress and anxiety. Trevor says “If these designs help just one person come to some kind of realization, I will have achieved everything I set out to do“.
As William James the philosopher and psychologist once said: “The greatest discovery of my generation is that a human being can alter their life just by altering their attitudes of mind”. Trevor created his store with a focus on psychological quotes and sayings that are not available in brick-and-mortar stores from some of the greatest thinkers of our time because, “Ultimately, we become what we think about.”
As a massive fan of Psychology, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, and Hypnosis, Trevor created MyTee People (he considered naming it “Mighty People” but it was already taken) to try and get some positive vibes going.
He has made it his mission to provide all of his customers with a range of the highest quality inspirational products, and a constantly evolving store that has new products and designs added all the time.
