HH Shaikha Jawaher AL Khalifa could have led an affluent life, but she chose the more difficult and fulfilling path of making a difference to the world at large. It all began after she finished her high school and enrolled at the University, where she became part of the Takatof Program. This social work inspired regimen impressed her deeply, and she decided to pursue other socially relevant ventures.
HH Sheikha Khalifa began working within the family in a small way, attending events, abaya fashion and even looking after office and real estate management. This further gave her confidence and heightened her desire to take up larger and more challenging assignments, such as those in the government domains. She went on to gather experience in areas such as public relations, marketing and human resources.
To count some of her recent activities, HH Sheikha Khalifa as an investor is involved with encouraging and helping young innovators and entrepreneurs. She is engaged with programs such as the ‘Book Marathon’ in Abu Dhabi, which is about encouraging teenagers to read more; ‘Little Designer’- which aims to reduce children’s addiction to harmful technologies; and annual events held in the UAE to counter the negative influence of social media platforms.
“I want to nurture the youth and channelize their energies to bring about positive action and change in the world,” says HH Shaikha Khalifa.
An ardent believer in empowering women, HH Shaikha Jawaher AL Khalifa is the founder of private ventures that include CSR Capital Project Management LLC, Smart Three Sixty Commercial Brokerage LLC, J.K.K. General Trading LLC, and J.K.K. Conference Management – Sole Proprietorship LLC.
HH Shaikha believes that the young carry the power and the energy to change the world, and make it more fair, inclusive and sustainable. She has therefore set up her institution to assist start-ups with space and seed investment.
