Mystery Thriller Author Harle Hope Hanson Tinney, widely known for her hair-raising novel, The Ghost of Belcourt Castle, was in the flesh in one of the most – highly-anticipated book event of the year, the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books last April 23, 2022. The event was organized by the University of Southern California in tandem as an exhibitor was URLink Print and Media. They featured Tinney as one of their distinguished authors at the event.

Her work blends elements of traditional Gothic fiction, ghost stories, and the mystery genre. Her stories are tales of mystery and imagination akin to spooky tales such as those in the Twilight Zone and other supernatural tales.  The book recounts stories of apparitions seen, heard, and experienced in Newport, Rhode Island’s gilded age mansion of the Belmont Family.

Alongside other URLink Print and Media featured authors, the Author, historian, and Lecturer presented and discussed the stages of her career, giving readers a deeper appreciation of her creative journeys and encouraging them to seek out books that can motivate and inspire.

About the Book

With some new stories and pictures the third edition of THE GHOSTS OF BELCOURT CASTLE recounts stories of apparitions seen, heard, and experienced in Newport, Rhode Island’s gilded age mansion of the Belmont Family. Belcourt stood empty for fifteen years until the Tinney Family purchased it in 1956. A residence and showplace, the castle was furnished with antiques from thirty-three countries and some of them were HAUNTED.
