Opened by Jonathan and K. A. Frank in 2007, ATA Martial Arts Maryland has been actively serving the communities of Harford County by providing superior martial arts training. As career professionals, the instructors inspire through relationships and leadership. At ATA Martial Arts Maryland, their elite athletes are role models who strive for greatness, continuing ATA Maryland’s tradition of excellence.
Their classes are so much more than kicking and punching their way toward the next belt. Classes focus on learning, growing, and leaning into difficult situations in order to become stronger, happier, and more productive community members. ATA Martial Arts students are taught by full-time instructors whose sole purpose is to teach great martial arts while having fun. This means that staff members are available 6 days per week at their multiple locations.
At ATA Martial Arts, they develop excellence by providing superior martial arts instruction and improve local communities by developing each individual, physically, intellectually, emotionally, and socially. According to Rita Galeone, “When my son started at ATA about 5 months ago, I had no idea what we were getting into. Not only have I watched my son gain confidence and self awareness, he is now a part of the ATA family. He looks forward to earning each stripe and setting goals.
