ROUND ROCK, TX – Zepol Productions Inc (ZPI) proudly announces its new global world headquarters in Round Rock, an Austin, TX suburb. The facility was previously Fire House 3 and was decommissioned and put on the market. ZPI not only acquired the property but undertook an extensive renovation to convert it to civilian use.
“There are three main reasons we purchased and renovated Fire Station 3. We are creating diverse jobs in the local community ranging from construction industry workers during the renovation to the new hires we are welcoming internally. We wanted to capitalize on the return-to-work sentiment that finds people wanting to “go to work” and creatively collaborate with like-minded professional colleagues. Finally, we intend to open our space to emerging entrepreneurs who need an incubator to grow and go.” Shared Scott A. Lopez, founder of ZPI. “Our technology firm is all about managing and extending the life of IT assets, just like we’re doing for Fire House 3!”
“Equally important is that our headquarters is located inside a Small Business Administration (SBA) HUBZone (Historically Underutilized Business Zones) to help the local community. We’re trying to bridge the digital divide by providing workspaces for local citizens to use our internet connection, printers and other equipment to complete school work, reskill to gain new employment or simply run a start-up.” Said Lopez. “We literally hired locals in our HUBZone during construction.”
Fire Station 3 will also be used for displaying art, holding community concerts and creative workshops. And a veteran’s not-for-profit “On The Way” will be housed inside Fire Station 3 as well.
“It’s innovative, community-focused entities like ZPI that further the cause of bridging the digital divide.” said Susan Krautbauer, Senior Director, Strategy and Development at Digitunity, a not-for-profit that collects and reprovisions computer hardware and software to underserved communities. “We’ve teamed with ZPI on several initiatives that support digital equity and we look forward to our joint Diversity/Equity/Inclusion (DEI) initiatives moving forward!”
To celebrate the grand opening, there will be a complimentary community Chili Cook-off Competition on Friday May 13, 2022 from 3:30pm to 6:30pm.
