The Russian invasion currently happening in Ukraine has thrown up a lot of humanitarian crisis for citizens of Ukraine. In a bid to escape the wanton destruction of their homeland, millions of Ukrainians have ended up displaced far away from home, with no idea of what to do next. A majority of this group is largely women escaping the warfront with their children.
Unfortunately, some of these women have ended up been preyed on by nefarious characters pretending to offer them help from the crisis. Still, there are some genuine persons who are coming out to offer genuine help to these women. One of such persons is Peter Boolkah.
Peter has entered into a partnership with Faye Savage to source for laptops for Ukrainian women refugees. Faye who is originally from Bristol, currently lives and works in Krakow as a digital marketer and recruiter. She is also on ground working with the refugees and has been able to find out what their primary needs are in their present location. According to Faye, many of the displaced women are professionals or support staff who have fled without laptops or any other gadgets. Right now, these women are desperately in need of the ability to earn money to support their families and remote working is their best and mostly only option.
On that note, Peter is calling on businesses and individuals to donate any spare laptops they might have to this noble cause. The business coach assures every donor that no data will be accessed and laptops will be wiped of data by a professional IT company before it is given to the women. These donated laptops will be shipped to Faye who will then distribute the laptops alongside a chosen NGO.
