“Rainy Days,” Rose’s new single, sees the rising artist shift his sound inward, producing introspective, intimate wordplay and a distinctively polished delivery around a beat that is equal parts passion and bass weight. It was released on all platforms on 5th May and has received a positive reception from music fans. The rapper has put his love for music on display in this track, written on a rainy day.
His first excursion into music began when he was seven years old, and his mother gave him a set of drums. Before and after school, Rose would play the drums. Even though he had no prior training, the church instantly recognized his drum talent and offered him an opportunity to play for them every Sunday at the age of 15.
This piqued his interest in music, as performers such as Michael Jackson, 2 Pac, Erika Badu, and Maxwell profoundly inspired him as he drove home from school. This frequently got him into trouble, but his love for music meant that after receiving recognition for writing the best poems in his class, he began to shun critical acclaim from school officials, giving him hope that he could pursue his dream of becoming a highly sought after platinum recording artist by the age of 23.
“I’m someone who cares about my listeners and has a true love for the art and the ability to have my personal expression and want to provide them with a soulful experience with beautiful music and good topics I feel like we all understand and can relate to at some point,” Rose was quoted as saying about the success of his new single.
