Abuja to host 2022 African Industrial and Development Ceremony and Awards

Nigeria is set to host the 4th edition of the African Industrial and Development Ceremony and Awards (AIDCA) which highlight and acknowledge the industry leaders from the wide-ranging sectors and specialisms across the continent.

The event, scheduled to hold on September 8 and 9, 2022, at the Plush Transcorp Hilton Hotel in Abuja, Nigeria, will feature global thought leaders to share ideas, discuss the newest trends, economic issues and experiences from across different countries on the continent.

A statement signed and made available by the conference director, Aisha Salisu, the organiser of the event Dotmount Communications Group, in collaboration with Yahoo Finance, the Associated Press and the Times of Jerusalem, also announced the call for entries for nominations for the two-day event.

The conference offers concrete, innovative and actionable solutions, champions private sector growth, leads discussions around game-changing public policies and advocates for best growth-oriented practices to help the continent move forward, build resilient companies and develop outstanding CEOs.

A specific focus of discussion will be the overarching strategies Africa’s policymakers and businesses should adopt to keep pace with the changing world.

The keynote is expected to be delivered by the former President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama. Other speakers include Ahmed Sultan Bin Sulayem, executive chairman of Dubai Multi Commodities Center DMCC, Ms Samuela ISOPI, European Union Ambassador to Nigeria and ECOWAS, Dr Remi Duyile, former Vice President of Bank of America, Afolabi Oke · managing director, Global Infoswift Technologies, Babatunde Fowler, former Chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), Nayla Al Khaja, first female film director and producer in the United Arab Emirates, Felix Achibiri · Chairman/CEO, DFC Holdings, Hanna Louisa Bissiw, National Women’s Organizer of the National Democratic Congress in Ghana and Dr Richard Nyong, ceo, Lekki Garden among others.
