Sunwest Bank Rolls Out Banking as a Service (BaaS) Offering to Fintech and Retail Brands
Sunwest Bank recently entered the BaaS space with the goal to provide brands with the innovative solutions that modern consumers require.

Sunwest Bank, a leader in business banking and lending, recently rolled out a Banking as a Service (BaaS) offering to support early-stage fintech and retail brands.

“Sunwest Bank’s Banking as a Service (BaaS) technology and software solutions enable fintech’s and other brands to quickly deploy deposit, loan, and payment products without having to select middleware partners,” said Steven Avila, Vice President, and Fintech Partnerships Manager at Sunwest Bank.

The platform is a complete system that wraps seamlessly around the bank’s existing infrastructure offering faster integration, seamless monitoring, bank compliance expertise, and a lower all-in product cost. Fast and easy integration through APIs allows fintechs to concentrate on their core business and not spend time struggling with bank technology or expensive middleware solutions.

Sunwest Bank’s BaaS offering provides clients with retail and commercial accounts for deposit and loan products. Additionally, white labeled Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions such as online banking and conventional and SBA loan platforms are available. These SaaS products can be integrated with Sunwest’s API stack and eliminate the need for expensive third-party integrations.

Sunwest Bank provides standard APIs which are modular, flexible, and future-proof. This enables agile development based on client demand, requirements, and regulations. The APIs also include integrations with some of the largest technology companies in the world including, Plaid, ID Analyzer, Validis, Paynet and more.

“As the Bank Built for Entrepreneurs by Entrepreneurs, our innovative Banking as a Service platform, API endpoints, and Software Development Kit, enable easy and secure integration of our complete suite of digital banking services directly into third-party products, software, and solutions,” said Matthew March, Chief Information Officer at Sunwest Bank.
