SRC Company, short for Silk Road Cosmetic, was established in 2016 and has been making its name as a mask fabric producer in both domestic and international markets.
Various fabrics from SRC Company have been chosen by major cosmetic companies in Korea including, but not limited to, LG H&H, Amorepacific, MediHeal, and Dr. Jart. It may not be well known to general consumers, but many facial mask companies are seeking to use SRC Company’s fabrics to their products
These cosmetic brands or mask manufacturers want their fabrics to be supplied exclusively, however, there are not enough companies that develop or supply fabrics to meet their demands. SRC Company detected these demands in the market and has been introducing fabrics that are developed and produced not only in Korea but also from the R&D center in Guangzhou and plants in Shandong, Zheijang, and Jiangsu Provinces in China.
ESG management in Korea’s beauty industry is transitioning from the declaration stage to the execution stage. SRC Company has been putting work into development of bio-degradable fabrics which have become materials in the spotlight since 2019. Development of tencel fabric started in 2018 in order to apply bio-degradable fabrics to facial masks. The company has been acquiring the Vegan and OEKO-TEX certificates for its fabrics in 2020. It is also working in cooperation with a Korean company to develop bio-degradable films for facial masks as well.
As more focuses on clean beauty, ESG management, and change of value chains, SRC Company is pre-emptively preparing to provide new energy for growth of cosmetic brands.

SRC Company plans to participate in more overseas conventions this year.
It is going to introduce various fabrics and bio-degradable flim overseas to expand its presence in the global market.
Before the COVID pandemic, the company participated in Cosmoprof in Hongkong and attracted many overseas clients. Conventions of such are major opportunities for SRC Company to directly meet and interact with global clients, therefore, the company plans to join the conventions in Singapore this year and Bologna next year.
Yong, the CEO of SRC Company, said “my rule is to supply our sheets to a single client in each country. That will create an environment where the brand can survive the market with its uniqueness. Once you make a deal with a client, it is imperative to trust them and prove full support.” She added that it is essential to take as much time as needed to find a brand that will have the most synergy with the company products.

SRC Company launched a new brand “MISS DRAGON” developed with its own technology to gain a competitive edge in the facial mask market where duplication of products is relatively easy.
There were many hardships after the first launch of the brand, however, marketing via influencers and group buying strategy were found effective. The brand grew twofold every year, becoming one of the best selling products of the company.
With a success of MISS DRAGON and preparedness for the future cosmetic market trends, SRC Company runs OEM and ODM businesses for facial masks and cosmetic products for numerous domestic and overseas companies.
