The homeowner mentioned the damage that occurred on his fence was impossible to avoid. The white pine was decaying from the inside and there were no observable signs.
“The team was bringing the tree down 2 feet at a time,” said Paul. “However, one of the pieces that the team had to bring down had significantly decayed on the inside. When the team hooked the piece to the crane and started lowering it down carefully, the piece snapped into two and both pieces landed on the fence. This was impossible to avoid.”
