Stevensville, Maryland – July 11, 2022 – 1631 Event Venue, a mixed-use space available for hourly and daily rentals has officially opened in the historic Arts and Entertainment District of Stevensville. The space is 1006 square feet and features hardwood floors, white walls and ceilings, 2 chandeliers and Edison string lights. The space consists of 3 “areas” – the main event area is the largest and includes a private bathroom for guests. The second area is the welcome space, and can be used as a lobby or for event overflow. The back storage space includes a fridge/freezer, utility sink and prep area for clients to use during their rental time.
Amenities include free parking in the designated parking lot, high-speed wifi throughout the space, use of an eight ft wooden farmhouse table which seats 10 guests, and a 4 ft wooden farmhouse table used for decor, gifts, or to hold food/beverages. On-site equipment such as round tables, folding chairs and linens are available for rent.
The space can accommodate up to 50 guests seated, or 70 guests for a standing/flow through event. Courtney Smith, the Owner of 1631 Venue shared her vision of what the space in a recent comment:
“The space can accommodate many different types of events or gatherings. We’ve been getting many inquiries for bridal and baby showers, but have also booked workshops, meetings and networking events. Personally, I hope to welcome photographers, content creators and local business owners to the space as well. The great thing about 1631 is that it’s an intimate space with historic charm, but can be dressed up to accommodate just about any type of event, such as vow renewals, rehearsal dinners and micro-weddings.”
1631 Event Venue recently joined the Queen Anne’s County Chamber of Commerce and will host an official ribbon cutting ceremony on July 28, 2022. Hourly rental rates range in price from $50 – $100 per hour based on day and time.
