Just like everyone has a starting point for their career progress, Starmix have a fascinating one. Born and raised in Lagos, they were exposed to a wide variety of music genres, including Pop, R&B, Soul, Highlife to Afrobeats. Being brothers to one of the biggest Fashion Stylist in Africa ‘Swanky Jerry’ they where able to get access into entertainment at an early stage. They began music proper during their university days at University of Abuja. It started as a freestyle session till they gained notable popularity amongst their colleagues with the release of their first single ‘Dance’ which open door to shows and performances for them across Abuja, also graduating as the best artiste in their set.
Immediately after school, they opened a befitting music studio, and went into music production and music business with a team of A&R, PR, Publisher, Lawyer, Distributors and influencers all currently under development.
