The Medina Medical Fund Seeks Support for Improved Testing Methods to Improve the Lives of Young Individuals with Kidney Disease

““My kidney failure problem was misdiagnosed for a long time because I am not diabetic. Diabetes and high blood pressure are the two most typical causes of renal failure. However, kidney failure can also occur quickly due to an unanticipated reason,” explains Medina, on his website.”
Over 850 million people worldwide suffer from kidney disease. Help Cristian Medina in bringing attention to the need for improved testing for kidney failure/disease and his journey as a Kidney failure and a long-period patient of misdiagnosis.

Every year, kidney failure goes untreated and kills an estimated 1 million individuals worldwide. Kidney Disease often goes untreated until it is too late. Since the disease is already advanced when the symptoms first appear, treatment is challenging.

Medina needs your help in fighting the disease. Make a Donation towards Medina so that he can obtain better treatment for his illness. One individual cannot make a difference, but little drops of water make the mighty ocean.

“My kidney failure problem was misdiagnosed for a long time because I am not diabetic. Diabetes and high blood pressure are the two most typical causes of renal failure. However, kidney failure can also occur quickly due to an unanticipated reason,” explains Medina, on his website. “The misdiagnosis prolonged the ticking time for my recovery. Currently, the situation is such that further delay in treatment would lead me to complete loss. It is pertinent to consider that a person for a kidney transplant must meet health and timing requirements in addition to being in generally good health. This is the reason I need assistance with my pre-medical expenses.”

Medina continues, “As crucial as it may sound, these are not the only factors that require funding. I have been working as a self-employed freelancer, and my work is being affected as I cannot work due to my medical condition.” He adds, “I live in a rental place that has become difficult for me to afford any longer because of a shortage of finances.”
