Winner Announced for the Annual Conscious Leadership Award

The C3 (Corporate Consciousness Co-op) community is pleased to announce and congratulate Courtney Rowan, VP of Digital Experience at Citadel Credit Union, for earning our Conscious Leadership Award.

On Wednesday, November 16th, C3 co-founders Lawrence Henderson and Karen Huller hosted a think tank event for the 2022 Consciousness Conference (ConCon).  The event kicked off with last year’s recipient, Dr. Pamela Larde, founder of the Academy of Creative Coaching, presenting the C3 Award to Courtney Rowan for “inspiring the loyalty and performance of her team, who would do anything for her”, according to an anonymous nominator.

 This nominator also praised Rowan for teaching her “that empathy and leadership are possible together, and not be happy with the status quo but to move things forward within the parameters.” 

 Some of the accomplishments that were cited by the nominator include remaining on the digital cutting edge, pushing her organization forward, and showing the team what they’ve accomplished while pointing out where they can improve. Astonishingly, Rowan has retained all direct reports since 2018! That is unprecedented in these times.

 ConCon and C3’s co-founder, Karen Huller, says, “Recognizing conscious leadership like the leadership that Courtney Rowan exhibits not only reinforces the actions and values of an amazing leader, but also elevates her example for others to follow. It seems harder and harder to stay on a conscious course, especially in corporate America. We hope that this new visibility inspires corporate professionals to continue to grow as conscious leaders and opens up new doors of opportunity for Courtney to continue to expand her impact. That is what Lawrence and I founded the C3 community to do.”
