The Dr. Charles Noplis Scholarship for Medical Students provides funds for students who are studying on the road to becoming medical doctors. To be eligible for the scholarship, you must be passionate about medicine. All university and college students enrolled in an accredited university studying en route to becoming medical doctors can apply for this scholarship. Students in high school who dream to become medical doctors and who will attend a university or college can also apply. The scholarship will be awarded to a star student based on an essay competition. Interested students must compete in an essay competition of less than 1000 words answering the given question. Students interested in applying must do so by May 15, 2023. All qualified students are urged to apply for this scholarship to fund their education. The winner of the scholarship will be announced on July 15, 2023.
Dr. Charles Noplis has over 15 years of experience practicing medicine in his field. He is one person who understands how important education is in nurturing a student’s mind to become successful and competent in the future. He also has first-hand experience with how difficult the journey to becoming a medical doctor can be, especially for students who come from humble backgrounds. He is well aware of how the rising cost of education is putting a lot of pressure on many talented and young minds who have a long journey before they become satisfied as doctors. Dr. Charles Noplis also knows how the lack of funds has made many young promising students give up on their goals. To encourage them, he has launched his scholarship program to ease their financial struggles. He hopes that his scholarship will raise awareness of the many issues that students studying en route to become medical doctor face. He also wishes to nurture a star student to become a leader in the field of medicine. He further hopes that the scholarship will open opportunities for students to find the help they need.
Dr. Charles Noplis is a board-certified psychiatrist. He has worked in his field for over 15 years. From 2020 to the present, he has worked as an Outpatient Provider at Seven Counties Services. He has received several awards including Fellow of the American Society of Addiction Medicine(FASAM) 2020, Voted Top Psychiatrist and Medical Director in Louisville, KY by Top Doc for 2019, Named Professional of the Year 2018 in Psychiatry by the Continental Who’s Who, and Voted Top Doc in Psychiatry for the state of KY in 2018 by peers and patients among other awards. He is one person who understands how important the right education is to one’s career. Having many years of experience looking back, he would like to reward the next generation of medical doctors with a scholarship fund.
