Dale Acelar, born and raised in Portland, Oregon to immigrant parents from the Philippines, has made a name for himself in the entertainment industry. After graduating from Cleveland High School, Dale worked with his family business, Islanders Ship Supply, before deciding to pursue higher education in the Philippines.
In December 1992, Dale made the decision to study business, culture, and language in the Philippines. Little did he know that his journey would lead to a life-changing opportunity. In 1993, Dale was discovered by talent manager and agent Jojo Veloso, who helped him secure over 30 commercial appearances, including a lead role in a Pepsi commercial that aired on all channels.
Dale’s success in commercials led to a movie and TV contract with Viva Films and GMA-7. He starred in a daily TV variety show that lasted for three years and appeared in over 15 movies within a six-year span.
Dale’s rise to fame in the Philippines entertainment industry is a testament to his hard work and dedication. He continues to inspire and entertain audiences with his talent and charisma.
