Santa Gives Permission to Proceed

After lengthy negotiations in which Rudolph strongly objected to the idea, Santa finally okays Santa Spy Cam.

A new app allows children to spy on Santa while he is dropping off his gifts on Christmas Eve. The two Michigan entrepreneurs that developed the app had to fly all the way to the North Pole to get Santa’s permission, or they risked receiving a stocking full of coal for Christmas, but the journey paid off.

However, Santa said the Santa Spy Cam had to be free and he had to get permission from his friendly elves and reindeer. Rudolph, however, was against the idea because he is a little camera shy. The Santa Spy Cam uses magic only found at the North Pole that allows a family to video old St. Nick while the kiddies are tucked up in their bedroom fast asleep.

The Santa Spy Cam has a built in sensor that flips on when Santa’ sleigh lands on the roof. After the main event, it allows you to share the video with friends and family. All the elves and even Santa himself had a hand in the app’s final stages of development. The Santa Spy Cam website claims that Santa would only allow short videos.

The videos must also be edited before the are shown to small children. Santa has not given the app creators permission to actually film him putting the presents under the tree. The Santa Spy Cam app is currently available for iOS devices only, but Santa’s Workshop is also developing the app for Android devices in the hope that St Nicholas will have it ready for next year.
