Neon Signs Kickstarter Campaign Has Reached Over Fifty Percent Of The Goal

A New Contemporary & Innovative E-Magazine On Art and Culture

New York, NY – Allison Krier, founder of Neon Signs, has announced that the e-magazine launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise seed-money to develop the first issues. The bi-monthly magazine explores art and culture from the 1960s to the present and its many facets. It has reached over 50 percent of the goal, which is to gather $2,200 by April 5th, 2015.

Neon Signs is an inspiring e-zine that will satisfy those who delight in creative writing and fresh perspectives on post-modern and contemporary art, design and culture; it strives to influence readers with a thought-provoking experience thanks to quality content. It provides unique perspectives and aspires to challenge notions of archetypal cultural criticism. The first issue will be free and there will be subscriptions that will later be available at a very affordable rate, along with limited free access. The well-rounded and evocative online publication provides great material to rouse art enthusiasts around the world.  Each issue will be curated around a certain theme expressed through in-depth feature articles, insightful blog entries, reviews, image galleries, videos, and much more. This set Neons Signs apart by offering focused and inquisitive issues. Editors will also highlight their top picks for exhibitions, shows and happenings. Neon Signs will cover subjects like fine art, design, fashion, film, music, and various arts. Krier avows that creative direction will drive writers to push boundaries in their personal critiques, appreciation, substance and narrative.

Neon Signs plans to publish their first issue, “The Matter of Artificiality”, by early June. Funds from the campaign will help create the issue and fund start-up costs.
